Inter 10 goes to the supermarket

Last Tuesday (06/08) the students from Inter 10 went to a supermarket to find products with English words. They found a lot of products with brands and descriptions in English. There were some curious products with different ways to write, for example:

Ketchup and Catchup, which one do you think is correct?

Happiness, Felicidad, Felicità, Bonheur, Shiawasse, Glück, Felicidade...

Football???

I know everybody is talking about soccer, but for many countries this is not the most popular sport. In fact, many americans have lots of questions about Brazil and the World Cup. And we back in Brazil know that soccer is not their cup of tea.

Anyway, I just wanted to show you a little bit of what I saw and learned about football and a team that is quite famous in NEBRASKA in the USA: HUSKERS!

And also to show you some pictures of ours, when we went to the MEMORIAL STADIUM to see what HUSKERS means around there!



There was a "training game", which is called "spring game" in April...and around 75.000 people showed up to watch it:
